SCG Project Advisory, LLC is an owner advisor that offers strategic, hands on guidance to owners, developers and institutions in the Greater NYC Tri-State area. SCG Project Advisory, LLC was founded in 2019 by Steven Giordano. As the owner, Steven is personally invested in the success of each project that he is involved with. As your owner advisor, Steven brings 29 years-experience in the NY/NJ design and construction industry. His desire to bring value to your project is achieved by offering solution-based guidance throughout the process. He believes strongly in his core values and approaches each project and its complexities with integrity, creativity, collaboration and transparency.
As the owner representative, we serve as an extension of the project owner or their team. As an owner advisor, we do more than monitor a project and just report progress. SCG Project Advisory, LLC will assume a leadership advisory role from the start, proactively affecting the planning, design, construction and closeout phases of your project. We will be diligent in our efforts and we will work hard to make sure your project is a success. By leveraging our extensive network of internal and external resources and relationships, we will ensure that we meet our client’s objectives. Working as your advocate, SCG Project Advisory, LLC can handle all details of your project so you can focus on your core business.
Steven earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Construction Management from Pratt Institute. His career started in architecture in 1995 working for an architecture firm in Brooklyn, NY. He produced designs and construction documents for residential renovation and new construction projects. In 1999, Steven changed his career path and went to work for a Manhattan based construction management firm. Wanting to learn all aspects of the design and construction industry, Steven started as a site superintendent in the field. He then worked his way through the ranks of project manager to project executive. He eventually became a Vice President leading a business group with more than 60 people and an annual revenue of $100 million in construction. Steven has worked on almost $2 billion worth of construction in his career. This includes Fortune 500 clients, top real estate owners and developers, private academic institutions as well as small to large scale residential projects.
Through the years Steven not only honed his technical skills but also sharpened his leadership skills, relationships and core values. Steven has a firm belief that one must lead by example and stay true to who you are. He has created a reputation for himself for having a high level of integrity as well as being transparent, collaborative and creative. Steven’s merits also including being an adjunct professor at New York University Schack Institute of Real Estate for 11 years and served as a mentor to many others starting out in the industry.
After completing 25 years of experience in the NY/NJ design and construction industry, Steven founded SCG Project Advisory, LLC in 2019. An owner representation, construction consulting and project management firm driven to provide unparalleled client service and project advisory in the real estate, design and construction industry.
