Above all else, I hope that everyone is staying healthy and being safe as many of us are work remotely and practicing social distancing. Nothing is more important than our health and flattening the curve as quickly as possible. We have all been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak and many construction projects have been suspended by the Governor in recent days. Many find themselves working at a reduced capacity and unfortunately, some have lost their jobs. People from New York and New Jersey are strong, we are resilient, especially those of us in the Real Estate, Design and Construction Industry. Although our industry is vast in scale, we all know how tight knit and small our industry really is. Some are just getting to know each other while others have been working over 20 years together. As in the past, we have worked together and helped one another, we will get through this together. 

Now is a great time to see how we can help one another. It is also a great time to reevaluate our plans on existing projects as well as those that were in the planning phase. This is not a time to feel helpless. We can use this time effectively to plan for the future and establish a sound game plan to maintain our momentum and emerge from this stronger while hitting the ground running. 

As such, for those of you who may no longer be employed or have been reduced in your capacity or even a small contracting firm dealing with tough decisions, I offer to be someone for you to come to for advice or even to just bounce around your ideas/concerns with during these trying times.
